September 25, Fineko/abc.az. After completion of work on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line and certification, it is planned to start passenger transportation, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Turkish Minister of Transport & Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

He added that construction work is currently underway on a 246-km section of the railway line on the territory of Georgia:

Uraloglu noted that about 1.5 million tons of cargo have been transported via the BTK railway line to date.
