September 25, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the global artificial intelligence market was estimated at $136 bn, and this figure is expected to grow by 37.3% a year from 2023 to 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alekperov stated about this during his speech at event "Artificial Intelligence in the New-Generation Economy: Challenges & Opportunities".

"The aim of the initiative is to protect the cultural wealth of Azerbaijan, increase the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the country, promote economic growth and stimulate the creation of new technological jobs and industries. In the future, the widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies will require increased attention to this area, the training of specialists with new thinking and the definition of ethical standards. The rapid development of technologies and the emergence of advanced GPT models create a great need for creation of procurement standards. It is also very important to develop new rules and procedures in this area. In order to organize the procurement process at the enterprise more effectively, the management team should define a single strategy plan in the field of artificial intelligence," Alekperov added.
