September 8, Fineko/abc.az. Volkswagen plans to keep the name of its popular Golf model in company's lineup by releasing a completely new incarnation of this car by 2029.

ABC.AZ reports that in the 9th generation VW's bestseller will not only change the platform, but will also become fully electric. How it will look was shown by an independent designer from Malaysia with nickname Theottle.

An automotive artist has drawn renderings of the new Golf with an eye to modern "battery-powered" Volkswagen models like ID.3.

The visualization shows a hatchback that looks very similar to company's electric cars.
