September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani president laid the foundation of three villages, the first residential quarter in the city of Kalbajar, a secondary school, museums of occupation and victory.

ABC.AZ reports that Namig Gummatov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture, informed about this journalists in Kalbajar.

"In addition, the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture has begun preparing territorial planning documents for Istisu settlement and seven other villages. In 2024, the preparation of territorial planning documents for four villages will begin. In total, by 2026, it is planned to restore 15 settlements-one city, one village and 13 villages, as well as build houses with 3,500 apartments. Of them, 1,500 ones will be in the city of Kalbajar, and 2,000 others in other districts. Starting next year, by 2026, it is planned to relocate more than 5,000 residents to the city of Kalbajar, up to 8,000 to other territories," Gummatov added.
