September 6, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla electric vehicle assembly company in Shanghai has released its two-millionth car on Wednesday since the start of production on it in December 2019, ABC.AZ reports, referring to company's representative office in China.

According to official data, over 600,000 Tesla electric vehicles were produced in Shanghai for Jan-Aug 2023, which exceeded the figure for entire 2021.

The Model 3 sedan and the Model Y crossover are being assembled at the company in Shanghai. Since October 2020, Chinese-built Model 3 has been exported to European countries, in particular to Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands and Norway.
