September 4, Fineko/abc.az. Mercedes-Benz has announced a budget electric car - the prototype Concept CLA Class has become a harbinger of the future production model, which will become the most affordable car of the brand.

ABC.AZ reports that the four-door coupe is made in a new design concept, which implies the use of a branded three-beam star as a decorative element - the star is integrated into the headlights and is a pattern for a false radiator grille.

The front and rear parts of the body are framed by luminous stripes entering the doors. The concept car received 21-inch wheels and a panoramic roof.

Four separate seats are installed in the cabin, and the role of the instrument panel is played by Superscreen complex — a full-width front panel screen with separate touch screens in the "ducts" of the ventilation system.

The new models will receive a proprietary MB.OS operating system, based on NVIDIA chip with liquid cooling.

Depending on the version, electric cars will receive lithium-iron-phosphate or silicon batteries, and the top-end modification will have a power reserve of up to 750 km.

A new model based on the Mercedes-Benz Concept CLA Class will appear in 2024 — the electric car will become the most affordable in the line of the German brand. Subsequently, three more electric vehicles will appear on the MMA platform.
