August 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, revenue from passenger transportation amounted to AZN 637,512,500, up 46.8% y to 7 months of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Interfax-Azerbaijan that the larger portion of revenue came from international passenger transportation - AZN 613, 176,600 (an increase of 54%), and the remaining part came from domestic passenger transportation - AZN 24 million 335.9 thousand, a decline by 32.9%.

According to the government, in January-June 2023, the volume of cargo transportation by air amounted to 166,800 tons (a decline of 32.1%), passenger transportation made 1,233,400 people (an increase of 49.6%).

As reported, in 2022, Azerbaijan's income from the transportation of goods and passengers by air amounted to AZN 4,904,809,700 (an increase of 51.4%), including from the transportation of goods - AZN 3,642,937,900 (growth of 12.4%), from passenger traffic - AZN 1,261,871,800 (growth of 98.7%).
