President Ilham Aliyev approved the law on amendments to the law on road transport.

According to ABC.AZ, under the changes, Azerbaijan is obliged to install taximeters on cars used as taxis.

Passenger cars must have a special device with fiscal memory (taximeter) and software designed for taxis, which provides accounting for the distance traveled by them, the duration of downtime, the calculation of the fare amount and informing the passenger about it.
