July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish airlines have set a new maximum price level for tickets for domestic flights the day after the record depreciation of the Turkish national currency, ABC.AZ reports with reference to newspaper Cumhuriyet.

The reason for this decision was the increase in taxes, as well as the depreciation of the national currency.

Thus, the speed with which the country's airlines adjust prices is amazing: one-way tickets for close dates and even for long-distance dates, such as the end of August, are sold at price of 1,650 liras.

This situation is observed not only on Turkish Airlines, but also on low-budget AnadoluJet.
