July 6, Fineko/abc.az. With the purpose to ensure transparency and digitalization of financial turnover Azerbaijan is planning to accept payment only in non-cash form for car parking and ease of use, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport).

A special mobile application will be introduced for this purpose. At the initial stage, the relevant employees and volunteers will explain to drivers the rules for using the new system. The proceeds from parking will be used for the maintenance of the system and development of transport infrastructure by the state.

On June 25, the Cabinet Ministers approved the amount of tariffs for motor vehicle parking.
