July 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the 2nd quarter of 2023, General Motors (GM) increased deliveries to the U.S. by 18.8% up to 691,978 vehicles against 582,401 a year earlier.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the company, including in April-June GM sold 15,652 electric vehicles.

Sales of Chevrolet brand for Q2 grew by 17%, Cadillac by 15%, Buick by 48%, and GMC by 18%.

In the 1st half of 2023, GM's sales in the U.S. increased by 18% up to AZN 1.295 million.

Earlier it became known that Toyota increased sales of cars in the U.S. by 14.9% in the last quarter, to 195,448 cars. Sales of electric vehicles reached 51,535, or 26.4% of the total volume.

According to Cox Automotive, overall sales of cars in the U.S. this year will grow almost by 8% and reach 15 million.
