June 24, Fineko/abc.az. When importing used passenger cars to Azerbaijan, a recycling fee will be charged.

ABC.AZ reports that a draft of the relevant amendment to the Customs Code was submitted for discussion in the 3rd reading at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

According to the proposed article, during the customs clearance of passenger cars imported into the customs territory, the year of manufacture of which exceeds 4 years, a disposal fee will be charged in the amount determined by the relevant executive authority in accord with the Law on Waste.

The draft amendment was put to the vote and adopted in the 3rd reading.
