June 20, Fineko/abc.az. It will be possible to pay for travel at two metro stations using a QR code in the very near future, within a week.

ABC.AZ reports that K Group’s director Orkhan Bayramov said about this at a briefing dedicated to the presentation of a new mobile application for cashless payments in buses.

"We plan to complete technical work (on replacing old equipment with QR code readers) at other metro stations during the summer to be fully ready for the start of classes in September," Bayramov added.

Payment for travel by QR-code at metro stations will be possible through new application of BakıKart.
