June 16, Fineko/abc.az. The sale of automobiles produced in Azerbaijan is exempt from VAT.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, which was put up for discussion at today's meeting of Milli Majlis.

According to the amendment, the sale of cars produced in the country will be exempt from VAT for 10 years from May 1, 2023.

The change envisages support for production of autombiles in the country.

After discussion, the bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 3rd reading.
