June 12, Fineko/abc.az. A state fee will be charged for issuance of a permit for the carriage of passengers and goods by road.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on State Duty, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

Under the valid law, only on the territory of Azerbaijan a state fee is charged for issuance of a permit regulating international road transport.

At that, according to the draft, the rates of state duty for issuance of permits for the carriage of passengers and goods by road are also established.

The following fees are offered:

- for issuing a pass for passenger transportation by taxi cars - 125 manats

- issuance of a pass card for one vehicle - 25 manats

- Issuance of permits by operators for international cargo and irregular passenger transportation for road transportation between Azerbaijan and foreign countries - 250 manats

- issuance of a pass card for each vehicle -75 manats

- issuance of a permit for activity of a taxi order operator – 3,000 manats.

If adopted, the draft law will come into force on October 1, 2023.
