June 1, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the amount of lump-sum payments for vehicles being disposed of will vary depending on the category of vehicles.

ABC.AZ reports that Mirza Lachinov, Tamiz Shahar (Təmiz Şəhər) Legal Department’s deputy head, said this at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Natural Resources, Energy & Ecology and Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"We’ve taken into account international categories. For example, vehicles and equipment used in the M-1 and other agricultural areas differ by category. It is expected that the prices for categories A and A-1 will be the lowest and in the amount of 200 manats, automobiles – from 1,500 manats, large-tonnage and other cars – a maximum of 3,000 manats. However, we prefer to upgrade the transport fleet and therefore we believe the amount of lump-sum payments should be lower than the discount amount. We plan the amount of lump-sum payments at the level of 50% of the discount amount," Lachinov said.
