Data unveiled on butter imported by Azerbaijan for 4 months

May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 6,198 tons of butter for $34.443 million for Jan-Apr 2023 (7,250 tons for $39.814 million for Jan-Apr 2022), ABC.AZ informs, referring to State Customs Committee’s monthly report on the state of foreign trade.

Thus, the import of butter decreased by 13.5% in value terms and by 14.5% in quantitative terms. In other words, in terms of imports, there was decrease of $5.37 million in value terms and 1,052 tons in quantitative terms.

The average cost of a ton of oil at import prices was $5,557 for Jan-Apr 2023 compared with $5,491 for Jan-Apr 2022.
