May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 14,261 tons of meat for $24.936 million for Jan-Apr 2023 (12,239 tons for $21.144 million for Jan-Apr 2022), ABC.AZ informs, referring to State Customs Committee’s monthly report on the state of foreign trade.

Thus, meat imports in value terms increased 1.2-fold (17.9%) and in quantitative terms 1.2-fold (16.5%). In other words, in terms of imports, there was a rise of $3.79 million in value terms and 2,022 tons in quantitative terms.

The average import price per ton of meat was $1,727 for Jan-Apr 2023 versus $1,748 for Jan-Apr 2022.
