May 11, Fineko/abc.az. At the beginning of our work, we focused mainly on the foreign market. We thought that there might not be much demand for satellite communication services in the domestic market.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerkosmos’ chairman of board Sameddin Asadov said this at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"Turkish company Türksat asks us to sell their capacities abroad. Because they can sell these capacities only in their own country, and Azerbaijan has 182 buyers in 42 countries. Most of them are countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Africa," Asadov said.
