May 11, Fineko/abc.az. The production of satellites is planned in Azerbaijan in the coming years.

ABC.AZ reports that Sameddin Asadov, the chairman of board of Azerbaijani space agency Azerkosmos, stated about this at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"There are enough specialized personnel in the country. These cadres have been expanding their practice for almost 10 years. With the use of their experience, the production of satellites may begin in Azerbaijan in the coming years," he stressed.
