May 10, Fineko/abc.az. American social network Twitter will soon add the function of audio and video calls.

ABC.AZ reports that Elon Musk, the owner of the social network, informed about this on his Twitter page.

"Voice and video chat will soon appear for each user of this platform and you will be able to communicate with people from anywhere in the world without telling them your phone number," Musk’s tweet says.

According to Musk, the latest version of the social network application also contains innovations. It will have the possibility of end-to-end encryption of private messages and the function of responding to any of the previously published messages in the branch.

On October 27, 2022, Musk closed a $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter. Soon after, he announced and implemented a number of changes in the social network.
