May 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's Space Agency – Azercosmos has signed a cooperation agreement with American company SpaceX.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Agency that the agreement was signed at a meeting between the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, Azercosmos and SpaceX. In accordance with the agreement concluded between Azercosmos and SpaceX, an agreement was reached on the resale of Starlink broadband satellite Internet in Azerbaijan.

Starlink satellite Internet services, already successfully tested by Azercosmos in our country, can be used by users at sea, on land, on railways and other transport lines, in business centers and data processing centers in remote areas, that is, in areas with insufficient Internet coverage.

At the meeting, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpaceX Gwynne Shotwell noted that this cooperation is an important step towards the sustainable development of the space sector between Azerbaijan and SpaceX.
