May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Barlocco Island has been put up for sale for £150,000 ($186,000), ABC.AZ reports with reference to real estate company’s website.

Barlocco Island is located in Dumfries and Galloway and is the westernmost island in the Gulf of Flint, the agency said. Its area is 25 acres (about 100,000 sq m). On the western side there is a pebble beach where you can moor a boat, and at low tide you can reach Barlocco on foot or by tractor. There are no buildings and residential buildings on the island, there is no water supply. During the winter months, the pond is filled with water, thanks to which livestock and wild animals can be provided with water.

According to the announcement, the island is located on the territory of the so-called "site of special scientific interest", that is, the Scottish authorities consider it remarkable for its flora, fauna or relief.
