May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Demolition of the old railway station has begun in Barda.

ABC.AZ reports that Tural Abbasli, the head of the Construction Control Department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).

According to Abbasli, a new station will be built on the territory. After this station, the railway line will extend to Aghdam through Kocharli, Tezekend and Aghdam stations.

"The foundations of the Kocharli and Tazekend stations have already been laid. And the design of the Aghdam station continues in an accelerated mode. If the design continues at this pace, the design can be completed by the beginning of June and construction can begin by July-August. There remains the construction of an electric grid sideline and signal communication. It is planned to build them by the end of the year," ADY representative said.
