May 4, Fineko/abc.az. Google's mail service Gmail has introduced blue verification checkboxes for email senders.

ABC.AZ reports that Google announced this in its blog.

Users who have received emails from verified senders will see the corresponding icon next to the company name. When you hover over it, a notification will be displayed informing you that the sender has confirmed the authenticity of the domain and the brand logo.

The innovation is actual for the fight against cyber fraud. Emails sent allegedly on behalf of a well-known company, but not received a tick, should alert users and warn them against scammers.
