ABC.AZ reports that Eyub Kerimli, chairman of Public Association of Economic & Social Research Promotion, said about this, talking that from today Trendyol officially begins its activities in the Azerbaijani market.
The economist said that Trendyol is one of Türkiye’s well-known e-commerce platforms. According to their own statement, the Azerbaijani market is currently one of the most important, most selling markets.
Speaking about the impact of the issue on the domestic market of light industry products, the economist said that this agreement has both positive and negative sides:
"As a positive aspect, we can note that we’ll probably get some products at a low price. Another positive aspect is that local entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to bring their products to other markets faster through Trendyol. In general, I think this will have great impact on expansion and development of e-commerce in Azerbaijan."
