April 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan space agency Azerkosmos (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport) exported satellite telecommunications and optical satellite services for $5.4 million to 40 countries.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the April issue of the Export Review, presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the document, this is 4 countries more and $800,000 (13.9%) less against Jan-Mar 2022.

Over the past 3 months Azerkosmos' export earnings made up 80% of total income, which is 6 percentage points less than last year.

In March, Azerkosmos exported services to 39 countries for $1.8 million. This is by 9 countries and $300,000 (14.3%) more than a year ago.

The Top 5 export leaders for Jan-Apr 2-23 included the UK with $1.2 million, Luxembourg with $1 million, France with $805,700, the UAE with $466,000 and Germany with $252,200.
