Ilham Aliyev approves memorandum on customs cooperation

April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved an intergovernmental memorandum of understanding on the establishment of a joint advisory commission on customs cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

ABC.AZ reports that the presidential decree is published on the website of the head of state.

According to the decree, the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan on the establishment of the Joint Advisory Commission on Customs Cooperation was approved, signed on December 14, 2022 in the city of Turkmenbashi.

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, after the entry into force of the Memorandum, is instructed to ensure implementation of its provisions specified in the first part of the decree.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been instructed to send a notification to the Government of Turkey on the completion of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Memorandum.
