April 26, Fineko/abc.az. From tomorrow, the import of passenger cars older than 10 years will be restricted to the territory of Azerbaijan (with the exception of rare automobiles and cars temporarily imported into the customs territory).

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in Cabinet Ministers’ resolution from March 29, 2023. The decision comes into force 30 days after its publication - on April 28.

The State Customs Committee reported that until March 29, 2023 (including the date of March 29), it is planned to carry out customs clearance of vehicles purchased in foreign countries and imported by submitting relevant payment documents confirming this to the customs authorities.
