April 20, Fineko/abc.az. American technology company Seagate has been fined for violating export controls.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to BBC that the company was fined by the U.S. Department of Commerce. So, the Department believes that Seagate Technology violated export controls by sending Huawei goods worth $1.1 bn. For this reason, the company was fined $300 million.

Seagate will pay $15 million every three months for 5 years to cover a $300 million fine.
