Special quarantine regime extended in Azerbaijan until 1 July

April 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani authorities have extended special quarantine regime in the country until July because of COVID-19.

ABC.AZ reports that the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan has extended the special quarantine regime in the country due to COVID-19 until 1 July 2023 (06:00).

"The term of the special quarantine regime in force in Azerbaijan expired at 06:00 on 1 May 2023. By the decree of Prime Minister Ali Asadov, it was extended until 06:00 on 1 July 2023," a government source says.

The special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan in connection with COVID-19 has been in effect since mid-March 2020. At that, most of the restrictions due to the coronavirus have already been lifted.
