April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerkosmos, the space agency under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, completed 2022 with profit of AZN 1.429 million (10.2-fold less against 2021), ABC.AZ reports with reference to Azerkosmos.

Last year, Azerkosmos' revenues from rendered services amounted to AZN 49.548 million (14.3% less than a year earlier), the cost of services – AZN 45.137 million (10.6% less), financial income – AZN 7.393 million (5.7% less), financial expenses – AZN 15.2 million (7.3% less), foreign exchange earnings – AZN 7.726 million (37.3% less), other income – AZN 10.07 million (32.7% less). The agency did not pay income tax.

As of January 1, 2023, Azerkosmos' assets reached AZN 508.615 million (8.3% less than a year ago).

Agency's liabilities decreased by 30.6% to AZN 362.06 million, and the balance sheet capital grew 4.5-fold to AZN 146.55 million. The authorized capital increased by 61% to AZN 272.606 million.

The space agency was established in accordance with the presidential decree from April 27, 2021 on the basis of Azerkosmos OJSC, which has been operating since 2011.
