April 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Electronic Security Service has discovered 2 vulnerabilities in Apple products, ABC.AZ was informed at the Service.
According to the report, these vulnerabilities were named “CVE-2023-28205” and “CVE-2023-28206".
The first vulnerability allows the target device to execute arbitrary code after processing malicious web content, and the second vulnerability provides high-level access to the target device by executing arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
In this case, since it provides unauthorized access and control over the system, this can lead to interception, deletion and more serious problems with personal data. The gaps affect the following devices:
iPhone 8 and later models
iPad Pro models (all models)
iPad Air of 3rd generation and later models
iPad of 5th generation models and later models
iPad mini models of 5th generation and later models
ETX recommended that the aforementioned products be immediately updated to the latest version as a solution to the problem.
