April 11, Fineko/abc.az. Design work has been completed on creation of a service center on Italian brand Iveco cars in industrial park Araz Valley Economic Zone in Jabrayil district, ABC.AZ reports, citing Elshad Nuriyev, the chairman of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy).

"The construction of the center will begin soon," he said.

Agency’s chairman added that applications for several projects are also being considered in the Agdam Industrial Park.

Az-Tex-Import LLC, registered last year as a resident in the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, plans to produce passenger, medium and large-tonnage trucks and special-purpose vehicles of the Iveco brand using advanced Italian technologies on an area of 3 hectares. Within the project, the investment cost of which is AZN 19.2 million, 90 people will be provided with permanent jobs.
