April 11, Fineko/abc.az. "For the implementation of the Middle Corridor, as well as the West-East transport corridor, there is an increase in the volume of investments related to the expansion of infrastructure in both countries - Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan."

ABC.AZ reports that MP Vugar Bayramov said this during yesterday's speech by President Ilham Aliyev in Kazakhstan: "We are already fully connecting the entire infrastructure through the Middle Corridor. This will be important for business development in all areas, not just in transit," he said.

Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are countries that cooperate in the regional transport corridor:

"On the one hand, the Alat port, built in Baku, is the largest port of the Caspian Sea as a whole. At that, development of infrastructure on the part of Kazakhstan, the use of a ro-ro terminal in both countries - Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, also reduced the costs and time for the transportation of goods along the Middle Corridor. Therefore, cooperation between the two countries as a whole makes a special contribution to the regional transport corridor."
