April 10, Fineko/abc.az. A failure in payment service Google Play has led to unexpected replenishment of some users' accounts.

ABC.AZ reports that the user accounts received amounts from $10 to $1,000.

The money was sent within Google PayReward reward program for allegedly "checking experience Google Play Remarkance". At that, the users who received the funds were not testers of the program, and a system error was to blame for everything.

Subsequently, Google noticed a glitch and sent users a letter explaining why funds appeared on their accounts. Those who did not have time to spend them, the money was debited from the account. Google has promised not to apply any penalties to everyone else.

"If we can't write off the money, keep it for yourself. No further action is required," the letter from Google reads.
