April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Toyota plans to release 10 new models of electric vehicles by 2026.

ABC.AZ reports that Toyota also plans to halve emissions by 2035. The company, however, adds that it is targeting 1.5 million electric vehicle sales a year by increasing sales of "hybrid" vehicles to fulfill its commitment to be neutral.

The automaker plans to add two locally produced electric models in China by 2024. Toyota will also focus more on pickup trucks and battery-powered compact electric vehicles in Asia.
