April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Criminal liability is established for connection to engineering and communication support systems in violation of the rules established by law.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Criminal Code, discussed at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

Under the draft amendment, construction project-used natural gas, water, sewerage lines, the laying of which require a permit, but which are being laid or were laid without obtaining such a permit, illegal connection of electric or heat supply enterprises to engineering & communication systems is punishable for responsible officials by a fine of 2,000 to 4,000 manats or up to 3-year restriction to hold certain responsible office positions or engage in certain activities or up to 2-year prison.

After discussion, the amending bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
