April 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 3,177 tons of bananas for $2.289 million for January 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, this indicator decreased by 19.3% or 760 tons against January 2022, and in total by 19.3% or $545,500.

Last January, our country imported 3,937 tons of bananas for $2.835 million.

The average import price of 1 kg of bananas was $0.72 (1.22 manats).

100% of bananas were imported from Ecuador, a South American country.
