11% of world's gold reserves are owned by Indian women

ABC.AZ reports that according to experts, about 10% of the world's gold reserves belong to Indian women.

Looking at Indian women, it seems that they use costume jewelry. But this is not so: the jewelry on Indian women is made of 23-carat 958 gold.

Gold jewelry is passed down from generation to generation, and as a result, their volume reaches several kilograms.

According to recent estimates, Indian women account for 11% of the world's total gold reserves. This is about 18,000 tons of gold. The total volume of gold production in the world for all time exceeds 189,000 tons.
