March 3, Fineko/abc.az. From the summer of 2023 Georgia will produce from 1,000 to 1,500 reconnaissance and combat drones annually, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Georgian Defense Minister Dzhuansher Burchuladze.

He specified that the first UAVs have already been produced and tested in the presence of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

The production of UAVs began at a joint Georgian-Polish enterprise near Tbilisi, the construction of which was completed last December. The owner of the plant is Delta - WB, founded in 2022 by Georgian company Delta and Poland’s WB Electronics S.A.
