March 1, Fineko/abc.az. A total of 468,000 residential buildings will be constructed in the earthquake area, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at a group meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

He said that the government has 1 year to carry out this construction.

"We have 1 year. During this time we will build these houses. We write off all debts of past destroyed, demolished and emergency buildings in the earthquake zone. In all the provinces of Kahramanmarash, Hatay, Adiyaman, Malatya, Gaziantep, and in the districts of Islahiye and Nurdagi, payment for electricity and gas to residents has been postponed for 3 months," Erdogan emphasized.
