February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Economist has published a food satisfaction survey covering 113 countries - Global Food Security Index 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the first 3 countries in the world that provide themselves with food are Finland, Ireland and Norway.

The 4th country in the world that provides itself with food is France, followed by the Netherlands and Japan. Azerbaijan lags far behind these countries. Our country ranks 66th among 113 countries with 59.8 points.

Other countries in the top 10 are Sweden, Canada, the United Kingdom and Portugal. Turkiye ranks 49th in the list. Yemen, Haiti and Syria were at the end of the list.

Azerbaijan ranked 48th on the availability of food prices, which is one of the sub-indices of the index. Fraternal Turkiye ranks 81st in this subindex.
