Germany becomes the country that sells the most goods to Turkiye

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The record deficit generated in Turkiye's foreign trade turnover in January.

ABC.AZ reports that this January exports increased by 8.4% to $18.105 bn, and imports by 8.1% to $19.89 bn, excluding energy products and gold.

That is, even without energy and gold, foreign trade was in short supply - $1.787 bn.

Germany took the 1st place with exports of $1.8 bn in January, followed by the United States with $1.2 bn, Russia with $1 bn, the United Kingdom with $954 million and Italy with $916 million. Exports to the top 5 countries accounted for 30.6% of total exports. While Russia ranks first with imports of $5 bn, Switzerland - $4.3 bn, China - $3.6 bn, Germany - $1.8 bn and the United States - $1.2 bn. Of these five countries, 47.4% of the total monthly imports were sold.
