Azerbaijan imported over 2,000 tons of starch for Q4 of 2022

February 27, Fineko/abc.az Azerbaijan imported 2,366 tons of starch for $1.45 million in the 4th quarter of last year (1.2% more in value terms versus Q4 of 2021 and in quantitative terms – 29% less).

ABC.AZ reports that 1,351 tons (-50%) of products for $769,400 were purchased from Russia (a decrease of 29% against a year earlier), 304 tons (+71%) for $320,500 (+95%) from Turkiye, 280 tons (first delivery) for $167,400 from Kazakhstan, 395.3 tons (+10%)$147,200 (+28%) from Iran, 34.8 tons (-24%) for $45,100 (+32%) from Ukraine.

During the reporting period, 695 tons (-20%) of starch worth $369,900 (+11%) were sent abroad from the country.

480 tons (-35%) for $256,000 (-8%) were sold to Georgia, 195 tons (+50%) for $102,100 (+82%) to Turkmenistan, 20 tons for $11,400 to Uzbekistan and 0.01 tons of products for $0.01 ths.
