February 24, Fineko/abc.az. India will study the business potential in the sphere of trade of chemical products with Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that Vinay Kumar, Indian Charge d'Affairs to Azerbaijan, said about this at an event dedicated to studying the potential of trade between India and Azerbaijan in the field of agrochemicals, pesticides, dyes, inorganic chemicals.
According to Kumar, the business meeting held today will contribute to the development of bilateral relations in the future.
"India's chemical industry is quite large and capable of exporting a huge volume of products. The share of the chemical industry in India's GDP is 6.7%," the chargé d'affaires stressed.
He noted that in 2022 the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India amounted to $1.8 billion: "This is over 2.5 times more than in 2021."
