Turkiye carries out insurance payments for destroyed houses

February 22, Fineko/abc.az. The insurance sector has started to compensate for the damage caused by the devastating earthquake in Turkiye on 6 February.

ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Insurance Association’s (TSB) chairman Atilla Bentley state about this when speaking about the destroyed houses.

Bentley noted that they are continuing research in the disaster zone after the earthquake in the epicenter of Kahramanmarash and faced the biggest disaster of the century:

"We guarantee that the losses will be eliminated as soon as possible, and the process of their compensation will be quickly monitored. The total number of insured persons in the region is about 4 million people, including earthquake insurance, fire, life and personal accident insurance, as well as compulsory earthquake insurance."
