February 21, Fineko/abc.az. The powers of the Ministry of Youth & Sports to authorize therapeutic use, create disciplinary and appellate institutions and approve their provisions in the fight against the use of doping means and methods in sports have been abolished.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendment made by the presidential decree to the Regulations on the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

By another presidential decree, powers in this area were transferred to the Ministry of Health with an amendment to the decree "On the application of the Law “On combating the use of doping agents and methods in sports".
