Azerbaijan exported 6,400 tons of sugar in January

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 6,398.84 tons of sugar for $4.8 million last month.

ABC.AZ reports that according to State Customs Committee, compared with January 2022, the cost of sugar exported from the country grew 2.5-fold, or $2.895 million, and its volume 2.3-fold, or 3,610 tons.

In January 2022, our country exported 2,788 tons of sugar for $1.877 million.

This January, the average price per ton of exported sugar was $746 versus January 2022 - $673.

In January 2023, the share of sugar in total exports was 0.25%, and the share of non-oil products in exports was 1.68%.
