Number of participants in foreign trade in Azerbaijan decreased on individuals

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. The number of participants in foreign trade in Azerbaijan decreased on individuals and increased on legal entities.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that in 2022 the number of participants in foreign trade reached 57,911, including 48,323 individuals and 9,588 legal entities.

In 2021, the number of participants in foreign trade amounted to 65,147, including 56,277 individuals and 8,870 legal entities. Thus, the number of individuals participating in foreign trade decreased by 7,954 people, and the number of legal entities grew by 718 people.

Last year, out of 9,588 legal entities, 269 ones were registered in the public sector and 9,319 ones in the private sector. This number in 2021 was 266 and 8,604, respectively.
